Sara is both a real estate broker and an experienced real estate lawyer. Sara has experience helping clients buy and sell homes all over Austin. Sara also enjoys working with real estate investors, as her knowledge of real estate law and the local market assists her in providing exceptional service to clients.

Sara graduated from Northern Illinois University, and has a J.D. from DePaul University School of Law. While she is a native of Illinois, Sara moved to Austin to practice law in 2002 and has adopted it as her hometown.

Sara has been named a top real estate attorney by Austin Monthly six years running (2019-2024), and was awarded the Pathfinder Award by the Travis County Women Lawyers Association in 2018, an award program now in it's 20th year. She is a graduate of the 2014 Leadership Austin Essential program and was a finalist for the Legal category of the Austin Under 40 Awards. She has served on the boards of the Austin Bar Association, Austin Bar Foundation, Austin Young Lawyers Association, and the Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas. She started the Austin Bar Mentor Program for young lawyers in 2011, which continues today.

She lives in the Zilker neighborhood and enjoys running on the Lady Bird Lake trails.
