Dave Floyd is an experienced business owner and lawyer. Dave grew up in the Barton Hills neighborhood and graduated from Austin High School before getting a B.A. at the University of Texas at Austin. He spent a few years in Virginia to get his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, but quickly decided Austin was the place for him to be. He has been active in many young professional and non‐profit groups, including the Young Men’s Business League and Habitat for Humanity’s HYP group. Dave is a graduate of the Leadership Austin 2008 Emerge and 2010 Essential programs, a member of the Fusebox arts festival board, and was a candidate for Austin City Council in 2014. Dave enjoys cycling, photography, and hiking (especially in the Barton Creek Greenbelt).
